Welcome to the Bloodbath.

Despite it’s name, the AU itself isn’t all about

blood guts and murder.

However, it does have its fair share of blood/gore cws, so proceed with caution.

The bloodbath AU revolves around the idea of Splinter having the reputation of the most deadly assassin. When he mutates, Lou Jitsu is only able to save one of the turtles, the rest somehow find their ways to different parental figures. It happens to be a strike of misfortune when these figures happen to be the very people who ruined Lou Jitsu’s life in the first place.

However, surprisingly, these ‘villains’ from Lou Jitsu’s life turn over a new leaf after unexpectedly finding themselves attached to their respective turtles. All ends up well and happy for these newfound families, having been brought joy in the form of these turtles. For Lou Jitsu/ Hamato Yoshi, it’s different.

He’s unable to let go of the past, and of his grudging hatred for those who wronged him.

However, he tries to remain sane for the sake of his adopted son, Leonardo. The life of a mercenary is no life for a child, and despite the coldness in his heart brewing from his trauma he wishes to keep Leo away from the harmful lifestyle.

This proves to be futile. After all, Leonardo was made in Lou Jitsu’s image.

They all were.

Bloodbath follows the story of all four turtles reuniting, bonding and eventually becoming one as a family. They’ll learn that family does whatever it takes to protect each other, even if that means covering up murder for your brother.

This AU is always open for questions and suggestions! I’ll get to any asks as soon as I can. To follow the story, you’ll need to start from the beginning.

In the episode Late Fee the Turtles wear their wrestling outfits from the episode Shell in the Cell as disguises

image

Leo: Great call on the disguises guys they really help us blend in with all the people

Something I was wondering about is why the Turtles thought their wrestling outfits would help them blend in when they’re mostly pretty flashy outfits but then I realised that Shell in the Cell was one of the first episodes where the Turtles started interacting more with humans.

image

Mikey: People are gonna see him!

Back in the earlier episodes of Rise the Turtles were more cautious about being seen by humans others than April & Shell in the Cell is one of Rise’s earlier episodes where the Turtles start interacting with humans more while wearing clothes as ‘disguises’.

image

Jessica: We’re calling you Prime Time now, let’s talk costumes

Leo: Okay?

Jessica: How married are you to this whole Turtle situation?

During the events of Shell in the Cell, the Turtles got to interact with humans by pretending that they were wearing costumes which their wrestling outfits helped enforce.

The reason why the Turtles believed that their wrestling outfits from the episode Shell in the Cell would help them blend in with humans during the episode Late Fee is because Shell in the Cell was one of the first episodes where the Turtles were actually able to interact & blend in with humans

So I've seen this circling in both TERF circles and in trans circles...

"Stop saying this is a genocide against trans people, that's disrespectful to Jewish people!"

First, it is perfectly accurate to call something a genocide when politicians are openly saying at rallies "transgenderism must be eliminated". That is calling for genocide!!

Second, there is more than one way to commit genocide; it doesn't just mean "forcing them to wear symbols, rounding them up and murdering them in camps". Genocide includes inflicting great harm to a group of people with the intent of erasing them from existence. Many different groups of people have had genocide committed against them, including the indigenous people of the Americas.

Denying trans people the right to transition, making it illegal to talk about trans people in school, forcibly detransitioning trans people, forcing them to live in the closet, forcing them to be sterilized in order to transition, labeling "living with a trans person" as child abuse so you can take away their children, and making it illegal to openly identify as trans, are all acts of genocide. They are all designed to destroy trans people.

I found the thing to dunk on Elon for regarding the rocket launch.

A lot of experts in the rocket community were questioning Elon's decision not to create a flame diverter.

For those unaware, huge rockets like this usually have giant trenches underneath to channel the flames, exhaust, and debris safely.

NASA's Kennedy Space Center has a flame trench that is 571 feet long, 58 feet wide, and 42 feet high and is built with concrete and refractory brick and bisects the pad at ground level.

But giant trenches are costly and can make working on the rocket on the launch pad inconvenient. So Elon wanted to try forgoing the flame diverter even though he was launching the largest rocket ever built with the most exhaust ever output.

And now he covered an entire town with a layer of rocket dust.

Exploding the rocket was normal and expected.

Not giving a shit about the town around the launch site... fucking infuriating.
